Compounding Magic

58% of Baby Boomer women have less than $10,000 in retirement. We can change that statistic for Generation X. It’s never too early or late to start preparing for your retirement. Every little bit counts – and with the magic of compounding, it might count more than you think!

Great job Michelle! My only comment would be to use a bigger number then $100,000 for the Gen X women. They still have a minimum of 20 years before they’re ready to retire and they don’t believe SS will be here for them. With that mindset they will need more then $100,000 to retire on.

Maybe we should really go for it and make it $1 million for Gen X women!

Thanks for the inpiration Michelle. I’m going to forward this onto my Mom…unfortunately I think she falls into the baby boomer statistic you referenced above. However, like you stated, it’s never too late to start! As for me…I’m going after the prize…$1 million for Gen X!
